“I highly recommend Kim for work in the Patent field.  We have worked together over several years on chemical patent applications and FTO issues.  Her ability to analyze issues, get work done on time and on budget is greatly appreciated.  She came to my attention when she was recommended by another attorney in another company.  This was by far the best recommendation I have ever received.  So thanks Kim for all the hard work over the past several years.”

Academic Excellence

“I highly recommend Kim Jordahl for patent prosecution work.  Kim and I worked together at The Pillsbury Company for over three years and Kim reported to me for part of her tenure.    Initially, Kim was an outside attorney who maintained an office at Pillsbury’s headquarters and supported Pillsbury’s patent law group.  After supporting Pillsbury for a short period of time, Kim was hired as an employee and, over time, became Pillsbury’s lead Patent Counsel.  Kim remained in this position until June of 2001 when she left Pillsbury to join the law firm of Kagan Binder.  Kim continued to provide legal services to Pillsbury at her new law firm until Pillsbury was acquired by General Mills in late 2001.

During her tenure as Patent Counsel, Kim managed a worldwide patent portfolio, was involved in the negotiation of agreements involving intellectual property rights and implemented a worldwide trade secret protocol. She worked closely with Pillsbury’s Vice President of R&D, a member of Pillsbury’s management committee, on IP issues, including patent policy, enforcement and litigation.

As Kim’s colleague and supervisor, I found her to be smart, driven, self-confident, committed, business-focused and adept at providing analysis and input appropriate for the audience or circumstance.

In sum, it is my strong recommendation that you consider Kim as an outside counsel resource.  I am confident that her ability, integrity and strong work ethic will continue to drive her to provide excellent legal representation.”
